Worst customer service!
What a disappointment! Prior to and during the installation, communications from Pulbrook air was great, but the moment the got their final payment, they disappeared, even when we had an issue. After installation, we received a complaint from our neighbours regarding the noise emitting from the cooling unit. Although we had asked Peter Pulbrook if this may be a problem prior to installation, he ASSURED us that this will not be an issue and it would follow all the EPA guidelines. This was not the case. To keep peace with the neighbours we agree to move the unit. We contacted Pulbrook air to help us do so. We explained the situation and he said he would get back to us with a solution and move the unit. We waited a week - no answer. We checked our account and the money for the installation had been deducted in the meantime. We continued to email, call, sms but Peter just stopped picking up our calls and at times, hanging up on us. We are now trying to find someone who will help us move out unit so we can actually use it next summer. Disappointing when people rave about their customer service, but the moment they get their money, they don't want to know us. Feel free to use them, but if something goes wrong, don't expect any help.

DREADFUL!!!
REALLY BAD DESIGN OF A SYSTEM, ONLY HALF WORKS, WARRANTY DREADFUL. SO FAR CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND NO ONE COMES OUT AND LANDLINE DISCONNECTED!!! All aspects of this installation and the followup, and the post sale warranty, have been really bad. Its really hard to get any one on the phone but right up to payment been made we couldn't keep them away, even receiving all sorts of offers but alas after payment was received things changed, and after installation was complete we can't get hold of them for warranty service Initially sold Superior system, only to find that it was in fact another system entirely. Compressors piping dreadful and entire job not the best. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Poor installation, un flued and ducts with huge holes resulting is us basically heating the roof cavity for years
installed a unit that was poorly vented resulting in carbon monoxide leaking ... this could have resulted in death. Its only that my partner double checked and knew what he was doing that he picked up on this major defect. Contacted them several times and only replied when threatened with a call to pluming body. Eventually got it fixed after several months of not being able to use it. Broke down again in the middle of heat wave. We purchased wall heaters in all rooms as the heating was so bad. After 2 years of and us using the heating and it never working properly we discovered this great big hole in the roof ducts. So, basically poorly installed (we were thinking we were advised badly on a bad unit). never use these guys. hundreds of dollars wasted in excess heaters, electricity and gas.

Pulbrook failed to install an aircond as promised. Delayed the refund. Wasted my time.
I signed a contract with Pulbrook in Notting Hill to have a Daikin split system installed in my living room. The sales process went smoothly. The sales consultants (Chris Thomas & Martin Lowe) explained how the air conditioner would be installed and how the pipes & wires would be connected & concealed. I paid the deposit and scheduled the installation. The installer came, checked out the apartment and told me that to run the electrical wire back to the main switch they would have to cut holes in my ceiling (big enough for them to put their head thru) and the efforts would be more than that what was quoted. The installer left. The second installer came a week later, the same story .. job too difficult and too much effort for what they would be paid by Pulbrook. The second installer left. I spoke to the sales consultant, and he agreed to give a full refund since Pulbrook failed to deliver the air cond and breached its contract. I was told the refund would be processed and mailed to me right away. A week later, still no refund cheque in my mail. I was in the neighbourhood of their Notting Hill office, I offered to personally collect the cheque and was told the cheque is not ready as it's waiting for the authorized signature. Another week had gone by, I called Pulbrook. The receptionist (Collette) sounded surprised that I had not received the cheque. She later called my back and advise that the cheque would be mailed later in the day. Week three went by, no cheque! This time Collette said that the cheque had been posted and I should get it in 3 days even with postal delay. Week four - frustrated, I requested to speak to Peter (owner)... No call back from Peter. Four weeks of nonsense in dealing with Collette, the receptionist. Either she lied to me about the cheque or the Pulbrook Operations lied to her. My husband then call the Sales consultant and was given the Operation Mgr (Sue) number to contact her directly for the real refund story. Sue told us that the refund cheque had been posted to an address which is not ours. So she had to wait for the cheque to come back before issuing an other one. Oh dear lord, Pulbrook people visited my apartment in 3 occasions and they have the wrong address on file? I finally received my refund cheque after five week of chasing... To sum up my experience with Pulbrook: - Lack of communications between sales and installer. Customer may not get what they thought they paid for - Inexperienced installation contractors (I did have my aircond installed by Crown group with no holes cut in my ceiling) - Lack of communications between front desk and operations/or cover up. As result, customer being lied to time and again - Lengthy and reluctant refund even due to Pulbrook's failure to deliver. - Another statistic for Frustrated and disappointed customer of Pulbrook. If you consider to install an aircond, I recommend Crown Group Air.

Pulbrookair failed to make system work
Don't use Pulbrook Air as they installed ducted heating, they could not install a system which worked correctly. They promised to install a split system, where you can adjust the temperature depending on the room, otherwise know as a slave master system. The owner Peter will burn you as soon as you have paid, they promised the world but could not deliver, after numerous requests to fix my problems, they failed, they just ignored emails, phone calls, and just went onto get the next sucker. I took them to consumer affairs, but eventually ended up in VCAT and they lost and were fined. Contact VCAT to verify my complaint.
